Special notes: After Oldfield’s incredbily successful Tubular Bells, Virgin wanted a sequel, and were putting Oldfield under pressure. Eventually, Ommadawn was recorded and released in 1975. The mysterious feel of the music has meant it has been used as background to various documentaries. David Bailey took the cover image.
