JENSEN GT FOR SALE

Jensen GT

Jensen GT chassis number 30045 (45th GT made)

Disposal from the Jensen Museum Collection

£37,500

The Jensen GT was Jensen’s answer to the ongoing fuel crisis of the time – creating a high quality & economical mid-range sports GT for the younger businessman. During the short production period from September 1975 to May 1976, a total of just 511 Jensen GTs were made, of which only 218 were right-hand drive.

This particular Jensen GT is one of the desirable so-called Sub-50 Cars. The first fifty GTs having a distinctive front bonnet apron with stainless steel finisher. The car was sold from the factory in right-hand-drive form, and was one of the few equipped with a full length Webasto sunroof.

The Jensen Owners’ Club Jensen-Healey & GT Registrar, David Booth, restored this car in the earlier 2000s, and the car was acquired directly from Booth for the Jensen Museum in 2017. Although the Museum already owned the pre-production prototype GT, another example was wanted with the idea of having the car prepared to a high standard to be used as an everyday motoring experience.

As at 2022, Jensen GT chassis number 30045, remains in beautiful condition, with everything working, and ready to be enjoyed on the road.
