Description
Item description: Jensen Motors illuminated sign from the period 1969 – 1976. Large blackened metal framework with plastic translucent front bearing the Jensen Motors logo on blue field. Double tube lighting to the inside with lead and plug to back. Two metal hooks positioned to the top for hanging from ceiling. Size approximately 36″ x 5″ x 12″
Condition report: Remaining in very good general condition. A few scratches to the plastic frontage, otherwise excellent. Electrics working, and the sign illuminating as it should. The electrics have not been checked, so these should be checked by a qualified electrician before the sign is put into use.
Special notes: Available only to the factory and distributors.
Provenance: Acquired from Charles Follett at the end of the 1970s by Andrew Edwards of Cropredy Bridge Motors. This was one of the Jensen signs mounted in the service area. He purchased the entire remaining Jensen stock from Folletts. Later acquired from Andrew Edwards by Ulric Woodhams of the Jensen Museum.
