Description
Item description: Jensen chassis plate used on the last 541s, all CV8s, all Interceptors, and all FFs. An original unused pre-1976 manufactured plate.
Condition report: Storage age only, close to mint condition and perfect for a concours car, or a car with the plate missing.
Provenance: From the estate of Sales Administrator, Jim Branson. A part of a group of items taken as souvenirs from the factory in 1976.
Special notes: The original chassis plates are manufactured using a complex process of acid etching and enamel infilling. Not to be confused with the screen printed copies that were made from the later 1990s.
