Item description: This superb Akai unit was one of the best of the company’s range when it came out in the 1970s. Beautifully engineered and of very high quality, the unit plays 8 track cartridges, but also allows you to self record anything you want onto cartridge as well. This unit acts as a slave, so requires an amp, usually today connected into your modern stereo unit.
Condition report: Surviving in excellent to near mint condition. The unit has been tested. It is functioning, but one channel is intermittent.
