Item description: Platinum record album with central label, Styx ‘Cornerstone’. Mounted to a fabric background, and with a presentation plaque to the lower left-hand side stating the album was given to the group’s manager, Rick Stone, for the sale of 1,000,000 copies of ‘Cornerstone’. To the right-hand side, a miniature of the abum cover. Contained within a silver satin frame.

Condition report: Overall close to excellent, near mint condition.

Background to Styx: The American hard rock band Styx formed in 1970. The band were from Chicago and became famous for its albums released in the mid -1970s and early 1980s. They are best known for melding the style of pop rock and hard rock with the power of a hard-rock guitar, strong ballads and elements of international musical theater. Cornerstone, released in 1979, remains one of their most successful albums.
