Description: Undoubtedly one of the inner-circle of famous Jensen FF cars. The Jensen FF press car, chassis number 119/117, achieved fame after motoring journalist, Harold Dvoretsky had loan of the car in 1969. By 1970 the car was sold to a private customer, and the third owner kept the car for the rest of his life. 119/117 was acquired for the Jensen Museum collection in 2007.
Initial work was undertaken to bring the car up to an MOT level of condition, which included mechanical work to the engine and brakes, along with removing the sills and checking the chassis tubes. The tubes remained in an excellent state of repair, so these were thoroughly rust protected, and a new set of sills welded into place. The interior is breathtakingly, with its original red leather in a superb state of preservation. The outside paint is still the original paint from new, now with a wonderful barn-find appearance. There is some rust to the front & rear valences, and leading up the rear arches, but outside of that, the car is solid. After a light recommission for the road, the next custodian could drive the car as is, or have the bodywork attended to.
The Museum has two features devoted to this car:
